Schools, businesses and clubs
You hand out hundreds of things. Know where they went.
Register your organisation and run one register of codes for everything you issue. You see who holds what. A finder sees your name and which door to knock on, and never learns whose jumper it is.
Free to register, 50 codes to start. Need hundreds? Ask and we will raise it.
How a rollout goes
Step 1
Register the organisation
Your name, a contact address, and one line saying where a finder should bring things back to. That last line does most of the work.
Step 2
Make codes in runs
Say how many you need, or paste a list of names straight out of a spreadsheet. Up to 200 in one go, each with its own code, all recorded against the person who has it.
Step 3
Get them onto the gear
Print a sheet by class or department on label paper you already have, or order iron-on labels and weatherproof stickers for the things that go through a wash.
Step 4
Alerts reach the desk, not one person
Everyone you add to the register sees every alert and gets the notification. Whoever is free picks it up, and the item goes back to its holder.
Who it is for
Schools
Jumpers, hats, drink bottles, instrument cases, laptops, sports kit. Assign a code to each student once and the lost property table stops being a mystery.
Businesses
Laptops, tool kits, hi-vis, test equipment, keys and site gear. The register tells you who signed for what, and a stranger who finds it knows where to drop it.
Clubs and teams
Playing strips, training gear, esky, first aid kit, the club trailer. Gear that lives in twenty different cars comes home more often.
The privacy line
What you see
Your whole register: every code, the item it is on, the person it was issued to, their reference, their class or department, and the date it was handed over.
What a finder sees
Your organisation name, what the item is, and where to bring it back. Never the name of the student or staff member, never a reference, never an address. A stranger holding a school jumper learns nothing about a child.
Start with one year level, or one crew.
Registering takes a minute and costs nothing. Make a run of codes, print a sheet, and see how the first term goes before you commit to anything.
